Sheba Ignored to Adored Challenge
By participating in the Sheba Ignored to Adored Challenge (“Campaign”), you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before entering.
1. Acceptance of Terms
a. By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
b. Your participation constitutes your unconditional agreement to abide by these rules, which are legally binding between you and Mars International India Pvt. Ltd. (“Organizer/ Mars”).
2. About the Campaign: Sheba’s 7 day Ignored to Adored Challenge (“Campaign”) is run by “Sheba and managed by Freestand Sampling Solutions (“Customer Engagement Partner”), a professional agency for
a period of 4 weeks. The starting date of the campaign will be communicated to the Participants separately by Sheba Team (or Campaign Period”).
The purpose of Ignored to Adored challenge is to create awareness by driving trials among the Participants i.e. the Pet Parents as to how Sheba Pet Food, if fed as per the feeding guidelines on the pack and transition guidelines mentioned on the registration page, might possibly show the indicators that a Participant pet parent could look for during the Campaign Period are as follows.

- Head and Lower Leg Rubs
- Following you around
- Gentle Kneading
- Slow Blinking
- A straight tail with curled tip
- Licking
- Rolling Over
- Trilling/Chirping
- Curling Up with you
It is clarified that these are general affection indicators for pet parents to look for during the Campaign Period and the individual pet needs and health outcomes / results may vary. This Campaign is not a substitute to seeking a qualified veterinarian’s advice /consultation.
3. Eligibility:
a. The Campaign is open to residents of India aged 18 years and above as of the start of the Campaign Period.
b. Participants must own at least one cat and it should be medically fit to be eligible.
c. Participants need to have a valid WhatsApp account
d. Each participant is allowed only one registration. Duplicate or multiple entries will result in disqualification.
e. Employees, agents, and immediate family members of Mars International India Pvt Ltd, its subsidiaries and affiliated agencies are not eligible to participate. f. Participants must agree to abide by these terms and conditions as a pre requisite for registration.
g. Participants should confirm the feeding routine they have for their pet prior to participation i.e. if they feed Home Cooked Food (“HCF) along with packaged pet food or only feed HCF to pets prior to participation which would be necessary to confirm eligibility to the Campaign.
h. On confirming Participation, the Participants agree to follow the feeding and transition guidelines as specified by Sheba to their pet for the Campaign Period. 4. Each participant is allowed only one entry, multiple entries will result in disqualification. Campaign Period: The Campaign will commence from 20th April, 2026 and will run for 4 weeks or any extended timeline as will be communicated to the Participants . (“Campaign Period”).
5. Registration:
a. To participate in the Campaign, users/participants (“Participants/You”) must first register themselves by completing the official registration form provided via http//www.sheba.in/ignoredtoadoredchallenge (“Sheba Registration Page”) and submit the required details
b. Registration requires the following information:
- Participant’s full name, contact details, and address
- Pet details (species, breed, age and dietary habits)
- Declaration of intent to participate
- Information on Medical fitness
c. By registering, Participants confirm that all information provided is accurate and that they comply with the Campaign rules.
6. Campaign Mechanics:
6.1 Consent and Social Media Presence
a. Once registered, Participants consent to be contacted via WhatsApp by authorized representatives of the Organizer , after which they will be told more about the things to do during the Campaign Period.
b. To be eligible for the Campaign , during the Campaign Period, Participants need to have a valid WhatsApp & Instagram account, if they do not have a WhatsApp & Instagram account, they will need to create one. Once Participants are on WhatsApp & Instagram, they shall also be governed by the terms of the services of WhatsApp & Instagram.
6.2 Post-Registration
a. Post-registration, first 500 Participants will receive the respective Sheba food free of cost for a period of 7 days delivered to their address according to the requirements of the pet they own.
6.3 Participation Requirements
a. Participants are required to feed the cat for 7 days exactly as per the feeding guidelines on pack and transition guidelines specified by the brand on the registration page.
b. Participants are required to capture photos/videos of their pet and share over WhatsApp/Google Drive with the brand as will be duly intimated during the Campaign Period in accordance with clause 6.4.
6.4 Weekly Updates
a. Participants must submit daily updates showing the signs of adoration exhibited by their cat with brand through either:
- A 30-45 second video; or
- Photographs (minimum 2 everyday)
The aforesaid shall hereinafter be referred to as “Updates” and shall be shared by the Participants with Organiser via WhatsApp
b. Daily updates must include details of any positive changes in the pet’s health against the health indicators detailed under point 2 hereinabove.
7. Content Rights
a. By submitting the entries/ updates/ testimonials /content for the Campaign, each of the Participants consent in perpetuity to use his/ her name, photographs, provided by the participants to Organizer at any time and on any and all media, whether now known or developed in the future relating to advertising and promotion etc., in the form of text, articles, audio, visuals or any combination thereof.
b. By participating, Participants grant the Organizer and its partners the right to use, reproduce, and publish their submitted content (videos, photos, testimonials) for promotional, marketing, and other purposes without additional compensation.
c. If the Participant wishes to revoke the consent, then this revocation shall be applicable from the date of revocation and any previously published content shall continue to stay in the public domain.
d. Participants retain ownership of their submissions but grant the Organizer a non exclusive , loyalty free license for their use.
e. Participants confirm that submitted content is original and free of third-party claims.
8. Participant Responsibilities
a. Participants are solely responsible for the well-being of their pets during the Campaign and must ensure that all dietary changes align with their pet’s health requirements.
b. Participants are encouraged to consult a veterinarian before starting the Campaign if their pet has any pre-existing health conditions.
9. Disqualification
a. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify Participant(s) if: • They fail to follow the Campaign rules.
• They provide inaccurate or incomplete information during registration. • Their content is deemed inappropriate, defamatory or offensive or infringing third party intellectual property rights.
b. A pet with an existing medical conditions shall be disqualified. c. A pet which is already fed Sheba food entirely
d. A pet who is recommended to be fed any specific diet other than Sheba food by veterinarian or a pet under medication by a veterinarian shall be disqualified. e. Any attempt to manipulate the results, including fake entries or bot activity, will result in immediate disqualification.
10. Liability Disclaimer
a. The Organizer and Creative Partner are not responsible for any: (i) Technical failures, lost submissions, or any issues or delays outside its control, related to WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook or other platforms. (ii) Injury, loss, or damage suffered by participants or their pets during or after the Campaign.
b. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Campaign without any prior notice.
c. Organizer and Creative Partner are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to Participant's or any other person's mobile handset or computer related to, or resulting from, participation in this Campaign or the downloading of any materials related to this Campaign.
d. If for any reason this Campaign is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer and/or Creative Partner which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
7. Selection of Participants with the best content
Selection will be done based on:
(i) creativity and quality of the Updates submitted; and
(ii) adherence to Campaign Rules.
a. The selected content will be posted as a story on the Sheba official page. b. The selection will be done by internal judging panel. All decisions made by the judging panel are final and binding. No correspondence or disputes regarding the results will be entertained.
c. The Participants of the Campaign or any third party shall have no right to question the decision of Organizer in the selection of the Participants.
11. Privacy Policy
a. Each participant’s personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with the participant’s consent provided to the Organizer and its affiliated companies and business units for the following purposes:
i. to conduct, manage, and administer the Campaign including verifying the identity of participants for participation
ii. for consumer research and analysis, promotional, publicity, advertising and marketing purposes; and
iii. for the Organiser and its affiliates to obtain feedback on its products and services.
b. All personal details submitted must be accurate, complete, and subject to proof at the request of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or that interferes with the entry process. Personal data provided in connection with this Campaign shall be collected and managed in accordance with the Organizer’s privacy policy, which can be read here: http://www.mars.com/global/policies/privacy/pp-english.
12. General Terms
a. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate the Campaign at any time without any prior notice.
b. Any attempt to manipulate the Campaign results through fraudulent or unethical means will result in immediate disqualification.
c. Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform specific rules.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
a. Any disputes arising from or related to the Campaign shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi. b. Participants agree that the decision of Director of the Organizer regarding any disputes shall be final and binding.

15. Participation in this Campaign implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Campaign.
16. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign is a violation of laws and should such an attempt be made, Organizer reserves the right to seek damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent permitted by law. All Participants and the best Participant selected hereby fully indemnify Organizer/Creative Partner, if Organizer and/or Creative Partner directly or indirectly suffer any damages as a result of the participation by the Participants in the Campaign.
17. These Terms and Conditions are subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, pandemic, lock-downs, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Organizer and Creative Partner (“Force Majeure Event”).
Organizer and/or Creative Partner shall not be liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to the Campaign or the declarationas a result of a Force Majeure Event.
18. Organizer and Creative Partner are not responsible to the Participant or to any other party for compensation as a result of the above-mentioned actions or any other breach of these terms and conditions. It shall be the Participant's responsibility to ensure that a valid name, e-mail address, phone number or any other details required by the Organizer’s page are provided.
19. The Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK, TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM. They have no association or jurisdiction over this Campaign.
20. The decision of Organizer about the Campaign shall be final and binding upon all Participants.
21. 22. Participation to this Campaign is voluntary. Organizer/Creative Partner or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered by a Participant, their pets and/or any third party, directly or indirectly during this Campaign.
23. Participants expressly agree to comply and abide by all the applicable laws, rules, regulations, guidelines etc., relating to or governing this Campaign.
24. Failure by Organizer to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions in any manner shall not be deemed to be a waiver of that Term and Condition and shall not give rise to any claim by any Participant and/or selected participants against Organizer. In case of any dispute or difference in respect of this Campaign, the decision of Organizer, shall be final and binding on all concerned.
25. By participating in the Campaign, each Participant acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions herein and all related terms and conditions governing the Campaign and the Terms of use on Organizer’s website and the rules to qualify, if any.
